For your considered combination of Tow Vehicle and Trailer, I think the Andersen Weight Distribution Hitch system is a good choice for you. I prefer the Equal-i-zer 4 point, but your combination is not that heavy. Andersen hitches are designed for lighter weight tow combinations. If and when you decide to step up to a heavier trailer, you will need to get a heavier hitch system. For your initial purchase, this is a good option and will not break-the-bank.
