So you think weight distribution is needed along with sway control?
Your truck's owners manual will tell you that you need a WDH, especially on a soft suspension Ram half ton.
Read the Towing section.
And you should get one with integrated sway control.
And please don't use fictional brochure "dry" weights.
Second top newbie mistake.
They are fantasy numbers based on stripped down versions of the trailer.
Looked through my manual and yes, it says any trailer over 5k should have a WDH, that puts an end to the question. I know I read the manufacturers brochure weights are not realistic, I was just using it as a frame of reference really.
Anyone have experience with the posted up above EAZlift WDH and sway control kit? If I should move this to a specific forum (say towing) let me know. Thanks again for the guidance.
