A Television MUST have some kind of antenna connection. THe standard today is a Coax connection.. long ago it was 2 screws about 1/4-1/2 inch apart on a common insulator.
A "Television" without an antenna input is a MONITOR.. like for a Computer.
You can get a tuner to put in front of the TV for watching TV it will have either HDMI or A/V outputs In fact I likely have one lying about. but not worth the cost of postage. (I got a bunch of 'em a while ago. ONE I'm using One is a spare I do not want to part with and I forget where the remaining unit went. I don't have the remote for it so it's basically useless).
You need one that does both ATSC (Over the air) NTSC (analog cable) and QAM (digital cable) Alas. Mine do not. (ATSC Only I have other devices for the other stuff).
