New tv and dvd player has no co-ax input
New TV and new Blu-ray/DVD player have no Co-ax connections. Of course, RV is all Co-ax. Question is...How can I connect the co-ax input to either a HDMI or LAN input of above??? If Mommie ain't...

In 2006 the government mandated that all televisions/tv's sold must have a tuner period. If it doesn't it is not a tv. If it doesn't have an antenna connection on the back it doesn't have a tuner and cannot legally be called a television.
If your "tv" doesn't have a coax connection on the back, you will need to return it and get a real tv or purchase a stand alone tv tuner to connect between it and the antenna coax.

Make sure the word “TV” is in the product title, as opposed to “Display”, “Home Theater Display”, or “Monitor”. TVs must contain a broadcast TV tuner, by Federal law!
In the TV specs, make sure it has an antenna, “RF”, coax, or cable TV input. Note, not all TVs with this input will list it. So, if you see this input, you’re good. If you don’t see it, you may or may not be good.
Find a photo of the TV’s rear panel (Amazon sometimes has these) and make sure it has the coax round connector like the one shown here: (picture omitted) Note that you are looking for a single round connector, not the set of two or more colored round connectors.
Be extra careful when purchasing a Vizio-branded TV.
