New vent covers
Camco brand black today. I had to get our new trailer inspected. The guy from the shop saw us looking at them and offered to install them for free. Only cost 30$ each. But now for storage I'm finding ...

The Maxair that I installed is hinged along the side. When its closed its held shut by to cotter pins. Makes it nice for cleaning the area under the cover. My screen to the vent itself, removes from the inside of the TT. another bonus.
My vent covers are not so conveniently attached; I have to remove four nuts (with a wrench) to pull them off. The cotter arrangement sounds very well thought out.
My screens are removable from the inside, but only after removing the trim ring (four screws) and the vent crank handle (another screw) and the screws holding the screen on (two more screws). It's somewhat of a toss-up which is easier. Still, I would not want to be without the covers; they're worth any aggravation they cause many times over.
