Newb question: Stranger approaches your RV

my response, get up move to my rv entrance, to block it. dude, really I just meet you go use the cg toilet. then follow thru by telling cg owner. also asking on this sight as a1st time member, kinda fishy.

Yes, Have had it happen and always say no!!!!Had a nice surprise a few years ago. Was trying to avoid tornados going on Int20 in Louisiana. Pulled into rest area, getting tired of driving and it was late at night. Saw the law sitting in his car, and went to ask if the storm was going to miss us. He said yes, and we could stay there for the night. I told him i was a little worried about that. NOW the good part, He said he would be there all night. He said in his state the law is at all rest areas on the interstate 24 hrs a day. He said to keep free loaders and crooks from bothering anyone. Slept good the rest of the night!!

If you are at the RV when someone is trying to break in use an air horn or whistle. If your RV is unattended your are SOL.:E Up near me the used a battery powered saw to cut thru the side wall. :(

Spending $88.00 for locks which are more secure, possibly longer locking piece. Yes, anything can be broken into, however, you can make it more secure. Thus harder to be broken into.

YES them storage compartment doors can be opened with just about every ones key.......

But hate to bust your 'security bubble' them storage compartment doors can be opened with a 99 cent screw driver just as easily as with a key.
Maybe even easier......

If it's something of 'value'.........insure it for loss

If someone crosses the constitina wire around my site, they earned the right to dump in my trailer!

Some one needs to" get a life" or find a hobbie or get more creative when writing and posting scenerios about "strangers wanting to use your trailer facilities". There can't possible be that many strangers in the world who go around asking to use other people's facilities:):))

The non-stranger

I don't like to go in my own trailer, too much work afterwards, I'm sure not gonna let someone else dirty it up for me!

But that's assuming they approach me at all with my dogs at my side. Apparently a pit mix and an American Bulldog aren't the most approachable (looking) dogs regardless of how big of softies they are.

If they needed to go #1 I'd hand them an empty milk jug,

If they needed to go #2 I'd hand them a paper plate and a grocery bag.
