If I were in a huge traffic tie up on the freeway or highway and no one was moving for an hour, and I was approached by en elderly person or a mother with her child, I'd be reluctant, but I'd say yes.
There is nothing in my bathroom to steal or "palm" and my TT is such that I can stand outside on the pavement and see the bathroom door perfectly well.
In any other setting, like I said earlier - I'd point to the bushes!
