We have always tried to park close to a bathhouse or bathroom facility when we camped with our tent or pop-up. I would never have the nerve to ask to use a strangers bathroom.
I just can't picture the average RVer asking to use someone else's bathroom; and if they were camped, they'd know where the restrooms would be. So if some stranger asked to use MY RV - I'd be suspicious and would point out the public restroom.
We were stopped for 4 hours on I-75 a few years ago, while a fatal motorcycle accident was investigated and cleared. I wondered if we would be approached by the traveling public for "restroom services" - but it never happened. Maybe because it was after dark - people could "go" in relative privacy?? Saw a few truckers checking their tires; and judging by the wet spots on the pavements as we were finally moving - well - "any port in a storm"
