who are you going to talk to on your CB radio. Being old school I have a CB under the seat for years and years. Can't think of one time I ever hear any RV'ers on it. I use mine with squelch turned up all the way to monitor the truckers in close proximity.
I keep tabs on the wife using FRS radios wandering around the shops in gatlinburg.. Of course if you really want to keep tabs use the cell phone...
CB's in the past was great for two vehicles in your road trip.
