I tow a 4400 lb trailer with my S10... So dont worry... I tow alone as the rear axles net me a 500 lb leway...
I go by axle weights and not GVW. I drove a tractor trailer many years...
Is my set up fun to drive?... Its ok...Its heavy but I have low RPM tourqe with the 4.3 V6. 3:73s rear I am at 2800 rpm or so at 65 MPH.. I put in overdrive when I can to get any type of gas mileage...
