Well, I am a newbie and just bought my TT the other day. Purchased the Palomino Solaire Eclipse. Its dry weight is 6800#. My TV is a 2005 F150 4x2 5.8L V8 with a 144 WB and max trailer weight of 860...

I would wait before signing anything...
That TT add say 200 to tongue for propane and battery....etc...

Thats a lot of trailer...
I would say do this first... Don't sign anything... Go to the scales and weight the truck. Get both axle weights and compare to the door tag. That will tell you what you can tow... Dont buy the trailer until you do this...
Do not listen to the dealer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
