Front axle weight = 3180#
Rear axle weight = 2540#
Gross weight = 5720#
Yes that is correct........
Example....
Your front axle is 3180. When you hook up the TT the front will go to say 2900 for example. ( This will cause light steering ) The front of the truck is going to lift.
The rear for example will go to say 3640 if 1100 tongue is added to your 2540
When you set the WD hitch you want to restore the front as close as you can to the 3180. Doing this will also transfer some weight to the trailer axles.
So the rear axle after WD for example may show 3440. Taking say 200 off..
So you see after all is hooked up you would only have about 400 lbs to work with before you go over your rear axle ratings.....
