I will do this exact thing you are talking about. I would not even know to do that if it was not for your help and so I greatly appreciate it. We will actually pick up the TT with a 3/4 ton, but I will run it through the CAT scales as you mentioned. This will at least allow me to get a real tongue weight estimate and determine what % of the TT GVW represents the actual tongue weight.
