Keep in mind that a MH engine will need to be started and run regularly. The ethanol-content gas will degrade rather quickly, and if you let it sit for 6 months the MH might not start. Also the battery could go dead unless you keep a trickle charger on it. Do you really want all the maintenance tasks that come with an extra motorized vehicle?
Mine sits from late Oct. to early April and starts right up in the spring. I put treatment in the gas tank and top it off before winter storage. The solar panel on the roof keeps the batteries up.
