We have an '03 Kia Sedona, which we bought before we got into the RV hobby. UK relatives had towed TTs for many years with very low-powered cars so we thought a 3.5L V6 could tow anything! My uncle and aunt towed an 18' TT (coachbuilt, probably weighed at least 2500 pounds) behind a 55 horsepower Austin Cambridge sedan. They went all over Europe with it (Swiss Alps, German Black Forest, etc.) Never had a problem except having to backtrack a couple of times when the rig couldn't make the grade.
We bought a 32' Class A, intending to tow the Sedona. We couldn't afford the cost of conversion for 4-down and found that its 4800 lb curb weight combined with the weight of a dolly, exceeded the 5K lb limit of the MH's tow bar!
We managed for 4 seasons without a toad, but the overall cost of operations ran us out of the lifestyle. We sold the MH last December and have no plans to re-start.
