Just yesterday I had to ask a man to trim a tree that was hanging into the roadway.. not from above, from the side. I would have taken out my mirrors trying to drive through it. And I've found that a great number of RV parks, and especially State Parks do a really lousy job of tree-trimming. They're usually receptive to my requests to trim, but, I don't see why they can't do this themselves, and, why so many other big RVs blithely drive through them.
Myself, I carry limb-loppers should I ever have to do this myself. And management hates that.
