wow, I know this is a RV posting but have the same probs with my class A. Low hanging tree branches and gas stations. But myself I prefer to stay on the interstates. Some of these country roads as I call them, really don't allow much room for error in driving, they aren't wide enough. Like you I was a bit nervous driving at first even though I've driven school buses for a long time. Just take more short trips and more driving and you will over came those problems you mentioned. One thing I know is taking a wider turn. I also don't use flying J, they are just to expensive for gas/diesel. It does take time and experience pulling up to a pump though. Happy traveling and aint it GREAT!
