As 2oldman said, you will always need to be on the lookout for low hanging limbs. Campgrounds that cater to bigger rigs should not be a problem. If you don't like interstates, state and US highways shouldn't be an issue since they accommodate semi-trailers, which are probably a little taller than your rig.
As someone who has replaced two rubber roofs due to limb damage, it is my opinion that you need to be careful of driving too near the edges of some roads. I have that problem on the road I live on. I have called the city a couple of times to ask them to trim the limbs. It usually takes them about 3 months to get around to it. So, when I leave the house, I drive slowly and if I am worried about a particular spot, I wait until I can drive right down the center line. As for the people who are behind me, they will just have to wait a few seconds. Better than me spending $10,000 to replace another roof.
As for backing into camp sites, you will get much better. Don't be afraid to get out of the truck several times to check your angles and clearances. If you are not going to make it, don't be embarrassed to pull forward and try again. We have ALL done it. As for the lookie-loos who always seem to pick exactly the time you are arriving to leave, don't worry about them either. If they are I that big of a rush, they can exit the wrong way if they have too.
