Now retired: Pulling a camper, or, driving a motorhome????

we did lots of research before we purchased our RV. Decided on a Class A. We are so glad we did. We can unhook and be on the road much more quickly. We can stop, level, hook up very quickly. Hooking up the toad is no big deal. We also like the convenience of having the bathroom available for the copilot and for quick stops at rest areas. Only you can weigh the pros and cons that are important to you. Cost and maintenance vs convenience. No brainer for us.
