- westendExplorerYou won't pay any tolls until you hit Chicago. If it was me, I'd pay the tolls and stay on 90, it can get difficult in some areas when you're off the Interstate.
Have a good trip and remember to take advantage of the nicest rest areas in the US, when you reach MN. - nettech207ExplorerWe plan on driving about 400 miles a day, sleep eat an hit the road again for the next day. I would like to make the trip in 8 - 10 days. It looks like if I take i90 I'll be paying allot of tolls not sure how much though so Might try a different route to avoid tolls. oh few more weeks means leaving last week of May
- AuntSmurfExplorerwww.rvparkreviews.com is my "go to" site for campgrounds.
- kknowltonExplorer IIHow long do you plan to spend on the trip? Will you be trying to get there ASAP, or taking your time? Depending on what you mean by "a few weeks," cold weather could still be a factor in your route decisions. (For example, if you want to go through Yellowstone, you may still have some difficulty with some of the roads being open for another 2-3 weeks, due to weather-related situations.)
More information would certainly be helpful in order for us to help you with route & CG suggestions.
