- gboppExplorerMaybe the OP is talking about the rumors of Federal HUD regulations prohibiting living in RV's and Tiny Houses?
There were a few posts on RV.NET about the subject within the past year. It was determined to be a false rumor. - discovery4usExplorerThere are laws prohibiting pretty much everything but as far as federal law I can't imagine it says much more than you can't park overnight on the interstate system :)
- darsben1ExplorerWell there very well could be a federal rule or law about overnight parking.
The OP has not given enough information to understand what he wants to accomplish. - garyemunsonExplorer IIIf you are planning to come here from Italy and RVing, you want to be sure at EACH site overnight parking is OK. Many localities have laws against it with significant fines.
- naturistNomadAgreed with the others: there is no Federal law to be found with regard to parking an RV overnight.
Also highly improbable that there would be State laws on this score. Such issues would fall to City/County regulators. - TodduptonExplorerPretty sure there would not be a federal law on something like that, state laws maybe and city ordinances yes. If there is someone in gvt had waaay to much time on their hands.
- 2oldmanExplorer III, and I'm sure many others reading this, do not know of any federal laws nor exactly what you're talking about.
