Regarding the original post
1) I routinely use nothing (like most folks).
2) On our maiden voyage, the liquid bottle leaked out under the bathroom sink.
The stink of the anti-stink smell was a bit overwhelming and fortunately we were able to camp with the windows open for a few days.
So IF you are going to use something- I suggest dry stuff.
