My inquisitiveness seems to always have me trying different methods. I have used Thetford and other brands. I have used them in the summer and winter. I have used dry and wet.
I found a post on this forum in regards to using bleach, water softener, and laundry detergent. It may be expensive, but I have not had any issues with sewer gas smells or any other issues since I started this method. I use about a quart of bleach, a cup of water softener, and a pod of laundry detergent.
