Folks, I'd love to hear a conversation of packets vs liquid for black holding tank deodorizer. I have always dumped little bottles of the stuff and am fairly happy, but I like the idea of throwing...

Vented doesn't help with aerobic vs anaerobic. You have to have add oxygen to the water to promote growth of aerobic bacteria. A black water holding tank is a stagnant system and will only support anaerobic growth.
Happy Camper may work. I can't say as I've never seen it. All I know is it doesn't make the black water tank aerobic. Not by itself. There's not enough oxygen in two tablespoons of anything (even LOX) to aerate a black water tank for weeks.
Maybe Happy Camper works by killing everything?
