painting sink

Lowe's has a bath tub epoxy paint in either aerosol ($50) or brush on ($30). As a retired painter, I'd fuggedaboutit. Take the advice handed you: buy a new sink.

Could you maybe try finding one that is slightly larger than what you have and enlarge the opening to suit? Google has a lot of options. If you end up going the route of enlarging the opening, ordinary woodworking tools with carbide blades will work but do not cut square corners as they will end up cracking (make them rounded). Need to get underneath to see how much width and depth you have to work with. Sinks are usually sized by outside dimensions of the lip that sits on the counter top.

Our corian counter top has an undermount sink but I am guessing that would be a lot of work to get an existing corian counter top prepped for an undermount conversion. If you have a local independent RV repair and part shop, they may be able to help.

There will be a sink out there that will work and it's a case of spending time searching the internet.

I agree, just get a new sink. Coachman is built there in Indiana, should be able to get another one easily.

I don't know if they make something for this type of job but you might ch ck our SEM paints. They make many products for repairing and painting plastic parts and bumpers on cars and trucks. I think they have some marine products as well. I'm about to change my radio in my truck to a touch screen with back up camera and just received a dash kit thT needs to be painted so was on their sight today looking at products for the job. Quite a few videos to view as well.

Try searching for bar sinks.

I don't know where you live in Indiana but if you're not far from Montpelier, IN "Ickes" is the place to find about anything RV. They have multiple sizes of stainless steel sinks, faucets, etc. at reasonable prices. Phone # 765-728-5668, address 701 W Huntington St (State 18)

I have not financial interest in them but have been able to find many needed RV items.
