Everyone KNOWS you can ignore any rule, policy or law if you feel breaking it will either cause you an inconvenience, or really won't do any harm. Get with the program.
Just curious, when they state a quiet time do most observe it, when stated no booze do most observe it, when stated no grills on picnic tables do most observe it, etc. This stuff gets old.
Funny, I've been to many campgrounds where the hootin and hollering goes on all night ,and the next, and the next. It surely caused many some inconvienance. All the while my dogs were nice and quiet. So does the program only apply to dog owners? - ScottGNomad

Wrong again!!!:h
Whats wrong with that statement. It's plain English and means EXACTLY what it says.
To make it even more clear, here's a definition:
Adjective:
1. Not noticed or dealt with: "her behavior went unnoticed and unattended to".
2. Not supervised or looked after: "it is not acceptable for parents to leave children unattended at that age". - 2oldmanExplorer IIGiven the varying degrees of rule interpretation seen here, there's only one interpretation that matters: the park owner's.
I wonder how it would be accepted in a park to leave a recording of a dog barking playing all day. Or loud music. Or people having sex. - MackinawManExplorer

The way I look at it, is that it's nobody's business what's going on inside my rig - unless it somehow affects (noise) the neighborhood.
I would definitely agree with this...however the problem is some people either don't know or don't care that their dogs bark incessantly in their trailer while they're gone.
IMHO if you take your dog on your trip with you then you better be prepared to take it with you wherever you go....I didn't pay campground fees so I could listen to your dog bark all day.

Wrong again!!!:h - AcampingwewillgExplorer IIWOW.....All you Hollier-than-thou responders amase me! If you dont like Dogs/Pets, I suggest you get out of RV'ing because there are estimates as high as 50+ percent(probably more) that travel with "Fido". As for some of you Smart Azz's....Yes, I do ask my neighbors whether my dogs have been a problem(to a fault, most say they didnt even know they were there in the RV). I take responsibility for my pets as I KNOW most RV'ers do....the perception that all dogs bark when left alone is so far from reality that its not worth commenting about. Its only those that cant stand the thought of someone bringing their pet to THEIR campground(how dare you) do such a thing....It seems some of you have been on the road Toooo long and you are so intent on having things your way, that there is NO room for anyone else's idea of Fun and relaxation!
Ive had dogs and Camped/RV'ed my entire adult life and Ive never had issue one with someone else's dogs..NEVER and Ive Never been scoulded for my Dogs behavior....I honestly believe that those here that have no patience, no sense of give and take are so wrapped up in there own little world, the fact that you even have a Dog at all is enough to set them off. Trust me, its always some on the same people on these threads that take such offense to anything Dog related. With all this being said, the common meaning of "not leaving pets unattended" is meant to mean "outside" and we all know this.
I love these Dog threads....Dogs are a part of RV'ing, so get over it!
Oh....now have a Good Day :B - BumpyroadExplorerunattended means just that. don't leave your dog alone in the RV with no body to attend to him/her. :s
bumpy - mboppExplorerWe were in a nice cg a few years back but the neighbors left their 2 yapping dogs locked in their 5er all day. I complained to the cg manager and was told "there's nothing we can do about it". I told him I didn't have to bother him with our business again either.

I'm amazed how people can rationalize the rules to make themselves exempt and an exception to the rules. If it says "Dogs are not to be left unattended" it means don't go off and leave your dog unattended. How can you interpret it any different?
Because there are many different versions of unattended. And unless a campground tells me how they define it, i don't ask and do as i would at home.
Very simple really!
See what I mean. :)
I see:
One person who distingushes between the intent of "the law" and the letter of "the law", and one person who thinks in black and white terms.
