Do you operate an rv park? If so what would you charge to someone to come park and sleep for 6 hours and not use any facilities?
The exact same thing a hotel would charge, the regular price. I really don't have any problem at all with people choosing to stay at a Walmart, at a truck stop, at a rest area or whatever. Just don't play me for a fool and tell me it isn't about the money, because it is. The post I responded to said in the first sentence that it isn't always about the money, then two sentences later he was saying how he stayed at some free spot because all the local RV parks were $60.00. That clearly indicated it was about the money. If Walmart, Flying J and the like all charged the same price as the local campground, the local campground would be the choice of 99% of the travelers because the local campground offers amenities that the Walmart and Flying J do not. Things like electricity, water hookups, less traffic etc. The free overnight customer is never going to be my customer, but please, lets not pretend that the reason is generally anything but money related.
