I put my 25' TT in a similar position, but on the opposite side of the house. I don't have a gate to deal with, but my property is on a hill, so I have a rather big dropoff on that side of the driveway. My slab, which I had put in is only 14' wide. You don't say which way you will be backing in from, but if you will be driving from right to left from the pictures perspective, I don't see an issue - but you will have to practice. Unless you are trying for a straight shot, there may not be a reason to remove the tree. My first time doing this took almost an hour. Maybe with all the mods your planning, one can be to the gate - take out the post and hinge the gate at the fence - maybe a bifold gate if that is possible. Also, when backing in, you would want to aim your wheels at where the driveway curves around by the house. I have a similar curve and if my wheels cut through the curve as I'm backing, I know I'm set.
