I'm on a busy street too and have to jump the curb (I do put boards down in the gutter to step up the curb) and have to jack knife it to it's final position..
Been doing it for 11 years now, so I'm pretty good at it, but every now and then I have to drive out and start over again..
The fence posts pull out, so they are not in the way at all.
