Harbor Frieght
I've had two of them. The first is probably 5 years old now and still going as far as I know; someone else has it now.
The second one only lasted about 8 months before it decided to run but not compress.
If you have this for "emergency" use only, I suggest that you test it occasionally. - VeebyesExplorer IIA 130-150PSI compressor is easy to find at any of the big box stores. Good for many things besides tire inflation.
Blasting dirt & dust out of basements is good. They are also great stubborn fire starters. No more huffing & puffing, waving cardboard or using manual bellows. - RbertalottoExplorerCORRECTION....Upon further looking...The the $25 Harbor Freight compressor is a smaller version of the one I bought. Only 100PSI and much smaller motor and smaller compressor. I'm very happy with my $51.00 compressor.
- pitchExplorer IIYes a Lowes Kobalt 3 gallon 120v. Was invaluable on our recent trip, allowed me some leeway when I picked up a screw.

Much quieter than the Porter Cable pancake compressor I own. It works well for inflating our TT tires, and it's also great for indoor projects (brad nailer, stapler, etc.) because it is so quiet. - RbertalottoExplorerHarbor Freight has their $60 portable compressor on sale this weekend for $25. I tried to post the coupon but for some reason was not allowed.
- Shadow_CatcherExplorerI also have a Viair, serious current draw btw mine sit next to the battery.
- cmeadeExplorerI have the Viair 400 RV. Has two 30ft coiled hoses, adaptors, and canvas tote bag. 150 psi and works great!!
