- Nicholsfamily05ExplorerI installed the Viair constant duty with a 5 gallon tank under the bed of my truck.
Ran the air line to the rear hitch and put the adaptor there.
Works great for everything from inflatables for the kids, bike tires, RV tires and some small air tools.
I know not really portable but with a 100' hose works great for whatever you need. - DrewEExplorer IIYes, Yes, Fini AirBoss. It's nice and compact so the space required is reasonable.
- SamsonsworldExplorerI have a cheap 3-gal pancake I carry. It's light and works better than 12v.

Do you have one? Is it worth the space and which one do you have?
I have a multi-purpose unit, Black & Decker I think (Came from Home Depot).
It is:
A rechargeable spare battery for things like jumping.
A small inverter for portable 110 V
An LED light
An air compressor
and some other function I think.
So far, it has done everything I've asked it to do.
BUT I have not tried to use it to top off an 80 PSI tire yet. I suspect that might take a LONG time if it got that high at all. - RoyBExplorer IIColor me Q Industries MV-50 that runs off 12VDC... Mine has the small tote case that slides under the rear seat in my truck...
I got mine back in my JEEP OFF-ROAD days and is getting pretty old now. I really should replace it I think. Will get same thing if available or same concept. Being tankless this is perfect for using the blow-out method on my off-road popup when it drops down to below freezing when I am camping off-road somewhere...
Does great keeping my tires up in the high 60s. Of late I am noticing it takes a longer time doing the high lbs thing but does it after a short time.
Roy Ken - Q industries MV-50. Yes worth the weight and space.
