Good rule of thumb. Keep camper plugged in when you can. Keeps the batteries topped up that way.
Propane mode cools the quickest.
Loading fridge with pre cooled/frozen food is best.
If you’re short on time for pre cooling a fridge, frozen water bottles or jugs in the fridge (and freezer) help. Loading a fridge, even at temp, with warm ormarginal cold food takes a long time for the fridge to catch up.
Made that mistake once. Low on groceries. Camper was up in the woods weather was hot. Brought a load of groceries from town an hour plus away. Marginally cool meat went into freezer. Loads of warm drinks etc into the fridge. All the cold food was not that cold either. Took a couple days to catch up.
Not the end of the world, just something to be cognizant of. Now when we’re swilling drinks at camp (if im not plastered and forget, lol), I try to replace drinks in the fridge as we go so don’t end up loading a whole case of warm bevys in at once.
Enjoy!!!
