If you really think you need to pull a car behind your motorhome to get around, then you should probably be thinking about pulling a trailer behind a suitable tow vehicle (which may or may not have to be a truck, depending on the size of the trailer).
When constantly moving, I tow nothing behind my C. Stops are one or two nights, the C not towing can park most places I want to visit (including suburban Detroit and Houston) and all the shopping I need to do can be done enroute. However, when taking the motorhome out to use as a lakeside cabin for a week or two (or longer) I need to tow a car to get around. I would be better off in this case towing a trailer to leave at the lake, and have often considered buying one just for this purpose.
So it depends on how you plan to use the combination.
