Mocoondo -
It's very interesting to read your perspective. Now, though, I'm thinking back to our experience & it seems totally different than what you're describing. We live in Ohio. We bought through RVDirect in New York. We overnighted them a cashiers check from our local bank (it's a regional bank actually). The same day they got our cashiers check, they overnighted back the MCO & completed bill of sale. The next morning, we went to the DMV & the clerk printed our official Ohio title right on the spot. In other words, we had the title in hand within about 48 hours of them receiving our cashiers check. Granted, I didn't have keys or physical possession of the unit. So a couple questions come to mind based on what you said:
- Are they just taking a chance that our cashiers check was good?
- How is it that they have the MCO available right in their office ready to send out?
Just curious... Thanks!
