The BLM campgrounds near Arches will be filled every day by early afternoon at the latest. It is virtually impossible to get a spot in the prime BLM locations on the River. When someone leaves the spot will be claimed before 9 am and before the previous camper even starts to pack to leave. After October the crowds will ease up.
