I had a '95 Coachmen with the Ford 460 V-8 and a stripped out rear exhaust manifold bolt. I used it for about a year before I got around to fixing it, and other than a bit of exhaust noise until it warmed up, it never gave me any trouble. It passed the NYS safety inspection with no problems except having to make the inspector look it up when he tried to tell me the catalytic converter was missing and needed to be installed. The F53's of that vintage did not have or need a cat...
