Quick overnight stops in route
When traveling long distances does anyone have opinions as to the best places to stop just to get a few hours sleep before continuing a trip.

I try and anticipate my stops when planning a trip and research the site beforehand. But when I have to "wing" it, I use the rv parky app on my iphone, or freecampsites.net. I have found some real hidden gems doing this, and each site usually has a rating and other camper comments.
