It's really simple S&*% runs down hill. Sometimes the inlet to the sewer (full hookup campground) is above the level of the ground. So the sewer hose goes from the RV to the ground (all is good) but then has to go uphill to enter the inground drain (not so good). You will wind up with a "stuff" in the hose. You can "walk" the stuff to the drain by raising the hose starting at the camper towards the sewer inlet if you don't have a ramp.
PS I noticed your new. When at a full hookup campground do not leave the black tank drain open. When about 3/4 full or before you leave open and drain.
PS PS I finally bought a "ramp" got tired of "walking" the hose.
