I flat tow a 2013 4 door jeep wrangler Rubicon. Completely built for off road rock crawling. Its lifted 4" and runs 37"Goodyear MTR kevlar tires and carries an extra 700lbs of steel skidplates, body armor and suspension/ steering modifications. It still gets 15mpg highway. The only time I know its back there is when I look in the rearview camera or if it's crazy windy. I personally wouldn't flat tow anything but a wrangler. Trans in park, tranfercase in neutral and off you go. The wrangler is an amazing vehicle even in stock form and will go places no other stock vehicle can regardless of tire style.
