A 12 volt water pump,fridge and furnace WILL NOT work plugged into shore power if the batteries are dead! The only thing that will work are the 110 volt wall receptacles.
Disconnect your battery pack, clip the battery charger to the ends of the RV battery cable. + to + - to -. Plug in charger to shore power or gen. All 12 volt accessories will start working again. Sounds like a bad converter or batteries. FYI I'm up the hill in Grass Valley.
