I have a pretty darn high anxiety level about backing into a spot or also as I call it getting stuck (getting into any sort of spot that I can't get out of.
My experience backing started years ago trailering a race car, but more recently pulling and back equipment attached on a daily basis to a small farm tractor. But,,,, backing a 30ft monster!! I technically know how to backup but will take that one persons advise and hit a big empty parking with some cones. For final backing and parking having the wife there to make sure I don't scrape or hit things was also on my radar but the best advise was only using her or the spotter to tell you when you are going to hit something, not necessarily having them micro manage the backing process.
