Many class A's can benefit from a few upgrades
In fact the standard class A design is leaf springs all 4 corners. THIS causes that 'Wander" the rating group noticed. Simply adding a track bar or two stops it DEAD.
That sounds like a reasonable mod for an older model - but I should not have to modify a $250,000+ motor home so it drives properly. If track bars help why isn't the manufacture putting them on?
I suggest you throw out that report, read what Ziggy said above, and find yourself an RV show somewhere you can drive various models and feel the difference for yourself. There is no way that a generic Class C is going to out-handle a generic Class A of the same year. A Class C is on a van Chassis where the A is on a generic truck or custom HD frame, or bus Chassis. There are exceptions on both sides but you're going to have to pick carefully to find the mis-match you say this "report" has come up with.. And also look at physical storage and weight capacities while doing all this research, you're in for an education because right now you're getting skewed by inaccurate and incomplete info.
I wonder is this is the same group that was skewered here many years ago for claiming "expert" reports that n o b o d y could quantify ?
