The problem with storage lots is that you may not have a lot of room or access to electricity for power tools. In our area, storage spaces go $100 or more.
I wouldn't worry about places that don't accept older RVs. Those places are usually resorts, and they would likely fuss if you wanted to work on your rig.
Private CGs are probably your best bet. The owners are more likely to work with you to accommodate your specific needs.
