I can't point you in the direction of a community, but I can assure you that there are many others like you out there.
A family friend (age 60) was widowed a few years ago. He and his wife had a Class B+ and enjoyed traveling in it while she was alive. When she died a couple of years ago, he retired and bought a new 3500 truck and a toy hauler. He has hit the road with his three dogs and is going to travel around the west and southwest doing nothing but living life, meeting people, and enjoying the country.
