We started out with a 26' "C" (used) to see if we liked the lifestyle. We really did like the life, but soon came to hate that POS Class C. The main bed was too small, the fold-out couch was very uncomfortable for sleeping and the interior was cramped because the driver and front passenger seats didn't add to the "house" when docked.
We sold it and got a 32' Class A, also used The V-10 got better gas mileage than the 460. The newer rig had a residential-size queen in a walk-round bedroom when the slide was out. The main cabin was plenty spacious when its slide was out and a pleasant place to be even with it in (at rest stops for example).
We've had to give up the life-style for cost reasons. Since we had the "C", gas price has doubled and CG fees almost tripled. When we realised we were eating into our IRAs to go RVing, we called a halt. We sold the rig last December.
