We're all different, for sure. However, owning a 40' motorhome for full-timing never kept us from taking it to the boonies.
We rarely drove interstates unless for a short distance to get to our planned secondary highway.
Public parks were always our first choice and we fit in just fine in national, state, COE, national forests, county and city parks.
We loved boondocking away from civilization on our own section of a gorgeous river or lake.
We boondocked or dry camped our way through Canada, the Yukon and all roads in Alaska.
So it definitely CAN be done!
