Rhino hose or slinky sewer hose?

Looked at the sewer line hose length thread and this was brought up a little.

What are the pros and cons of the slinky hose vs. the Rhino hose that holds its shape? Maybe a piece of each? Hate to get in a tussle with the slinky hose.

Is the 90 degree elbow a must have or will the hose make the curve into the hole? The 90 degree doesn't fit in my hose storage tube so it would have to be stored elsewhere.

Thanks.
  • I prefer the Rhino because you can compress it and it will stay compressed. Just pull out what you need instead of having the full length stretched out on the ground.

I think the 90 degree is necessary. Otherwise you would have a “hump” at the discharge that would hold some water from going down.
  • I like the slinky, it fits in the bumper. It won't bend 90 degrees, I carry the elbow and outlet in a marine battery box mounted on the front of the trailer along with other implements of destruction.
