Roadside Assistance from State Farm vs. AAA RV

Unfortunately sounds like I'm paying for sorry service. I'm looking into cancelling the State Farm Roadside and going with something different.

State Farm user here, I am very happy with the service and it is a minimal addition to my policies for coverage on our vehicles, fifth wheel included. I have used it twice, once blowout on truck while towing fifth wheel. I handled the logistics and submitted my receipt to my local office, receiving a check on the spot for full reimbursement. The most recent time (a blowout in my car on the freeway need tow to tire shop), I called and had help with the arrangements, they arranged to pay the tow company directly.

If you're traveling each company would use the same tow trucks in the area. They won't have their own fleet of trucks. One policy is sufficient.

I actually decided to keep my AAA Premier RV. The benefits and what it includes is outstanding after careful review.

The only way to evaluate Road Side Assistance Programs is to do a side by side comparison of each one. What is important to me is am I going to be able to get all the services I need in every state, city,county. Also what services are provided in Canada, Mexico and Baja? I don't think that AAA offers the same services in all states.

I have had AAA RV rider in my insurance for a long time and I have looked at both State Farm and Good Sam they both have the same language on towing a RV.

With an RV, they both want the RV towed to the nearest qualified repair shop.

I want to be to be able to be towed to my choice of repair shop within my mileage coverage,which is 100 miles.

I will stay with AAA.

Only advantage I can see to having the 2, if one isn't too good in the area you are in, maybe the other is better.
