route from philadelphia area to orlando

I you want to miss the whole Baltimore/Washington/Richmond scene, you can go thru Delaware and down the Eastern Shore to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, then take Route 58 over to hit I95 at Emporia, VA. It is a much easier, relaxing drive than I95, but maybe a little longer. We go that all way all the time, but we are leaving from Cape May County, and it is easy for us to hit the Cape May/Lewes Ferry. Screws up your Dumfries plans, but there are some nice campgrounds near both the ends of the Bridge/Tunnel .....
