  • I can run my RV off a shoreline with no problem. I didn't like using a regular extension cord so I put a shoreline receptacle on the side of my garage. The a/c seems to run more efficiently like that. It's on a 20 amp breaker. When we had a major storm that took the power out, I hooked a generator up to it and lived in it ovenight.

How far away, the shorter the cord the better. And, on a 15A circuit, you probably won't be able to run much of anything else while the AC is on, although the LEDs don't use much power at all.
  • If the house outlet is 20A and other items on that same circuit in house are not on.......good chance you can run A/C.

Just remember....converter will use some of the available amps to maintain charge on battery.
And if planning on turning fridge on.make sure TT is level and run it on propane to minimize AC demand.

IF house outlet is a GFI...well may be, may be not. They can be very finicky.
